It is possible to study with a scholarship in both master's and bachelor's studies. You can apply for the MEXT scholarship program, which is opened twice a year. The program has both an embassy and a university arm. You can apply to the Japanese embassy in Azerbaijan or to the university online. If you win the scholarship, the university costs are waived, and you get a stipend of about $1,200 a month. Universities also have their own scholarship programs that you can apply for if you are eligible.

The international Japanese language level exam is held twice a year, on the Sunday of the first week of July and December. You can buy the exam ticket from the Japanese embassy on the dates when the tickets go on sale.
